Join a relaxed snowshoeing experience in Lapland together with a local guide. We head out into nature in the Pyhä, Luosto or Kemijärvi area, depending on your chosen meeting point. The route takes us through snowy forest and up towards a fell, following natural paths through the forest. Snowshoeing is an easy way to move in deep snow and does not require any previous experience. The pace is kept comfortable and adjusted to the group, so this experience is suitable for beginners, families and anyone who wants to spend time outdoors. As we make our way higher, the landscape opens up little by little. On clear days you can enjoy views from the fell, while on other days the experience is more about the atmosphere, the forest and the winter surroundings. We always make a stop for a fire during the tour. It is a chance to warm up, have a hot drink and take a break together. Small snacks are prepared by the fire, keeping the experience simple and true to local outdoor traditions. When booking, you can choose your preferred meeting area, either Pyhä, Luosto or Kemijärvi. Locations are always selected based on weather and snow conditions to make sure the experience is safe and enjoyable. This experience is for anyone who wants to explore Lapland nature in a calm and easy way, without rush or performance. This experience includes walking uphill towards a fell, so a basic level of fitness is required. It may not be suitable for very young children.
